One calm place for
your whole client book.
Yven is the system of record for small and solo web shops. Every domain, login, renewal, and hour of work behind each client, in one place you can trust.
Why it exists
Small web shops carry a quiet kind of risk: a domain nobody remembered to renew, a hosting bill nobody saw coming, an SSL certificate that lapsed over a long weekend. The details live in spreadsheets, old emails, and memory – until the day they don’t.
Yven replaces that scatter with one searchable record of where every client asset lives, who controls it, who pays for it, and when it comes up again. It also keeps a log of the small jobs you do along the way, so the work that never makes it onto an invoice at least makes it onto a list.
“I built Yven because I was the one ctrl-f-ing through three years of email, trying to remember which GoDaddy login belonged to which client. It’s the tool I wish I’d had then: one place to find everything about a client.”
What it does
The registry
Every client, site, domain, hosting account, certificate, and email service, with who owns it and who pays. Find any of it in one search.
The work ledger
Log a small job in thirty seconds, then batch the billable ones into a single invoice. Share a work log with a client when you want them to see what you did.
Renewals
Every domain, certificate, and subscription carries a date. One digest each morning, by email or Slack, sorted by what’s most urgent.
The help centre walks through each of these, or you can start with the free spreadsheet.
Who it’s for
Freelancers and small web shops who look after domains, hosting, and sites for clients, and who do a steady trickle of small jobs on top. It’s built around one person’s practice. It isn’t a full project-management tool or an accounting package, and it doesn’t try to be.
What I promise
- Pointers, not passwords. Yven never stores your clients’ passwords or secrets. The credential field holds a note about where something lives, like the name of a vault.
- Your data is yours. You can export it whenever you like, including when your account is read-only. Use Yven because it’s useful, not because leaving is hard.
- One plan, everything included. No per-seat math, no per-client metering, and no extra charge for features.
- Plain answers. How I protect your data is on the Security page, and what I do with it is in the Privacy Policy, written to match what the product actually does.
